bittah.com vs irrational games

Yes thats right ladies and gents, bittah.com sent our two finest on the spot reporters (Vurt and Stan) on a trip of their lifetime last week to Irrational Games Canberra to gather intel on this strange species.

With a groovy ipod mic in one hand the duo was able to squeeze out a lot of new info on vengeance after interrogating 14 unsuspecting developers. We have now compiled transcripts of the interviews complete with dev profiles and the lovely Standard has now also compiled a travel diary of his journey and time spent at irrational.

So without further adue, click here! Did i mention theres a new screenshot in there somewhere? icon_smile.gif

Ill also save vurt/stan some time by reinforcing the fact that they are of course under NDA's so dont be asking them questions that they obviously cant answer ....

Is the challenge to make the AI reasonably unpredictable?
No the biggest challenge is to make them fun, because it's fairly easy to make the AI so hard that they're not beatable.... So the way we setup the AI is that there are different classes of AI and they each demonstrate one particular thing, or a particular set of tactics in Tribes. We have the duelist who is really good at dodging and always tries to get height advantage on you and tries to jet behind you and stuff and we have various guys with various weapons.
